Post Holidays at the Loony Bin

When things get happening, they happen all at once, needless to say it's been a bit crazy around here lately! New Years Eve came and went with barely a thought with everything happening. I know I said I would post Christmas pics, but I still have not uploaded them to my puter (sigh). My brain has been on other matters, not limited to the following...

1. Mom was back in ICU Friday night, but home on Sunday :)

2. The family house is pending sale... as of Thursday; I still have mixed feeling about this whole thing. paperwork has been signed and the final walk through is this afternoon. Mom is a wreck, Deb is excited, and Drew and I are sad

3. My oldest son and family got moved into an apartment over the weekend, so I am no longer stressing about their situation... yay!

4. Borrowing my sister's vehicle to drive 70 miles down to the Valley to get Drew's puter fixed. As it turns out the Geek Squad had to ship it off for repairs; now he is without his MMO games, bored, and driving me nuts LOL

5. Walking through the old house, taking stock, and stressing about where the heck I am going to store what is left!

It is so sad to walk through that old house and see it empty, knowing we all have to say our finally goodbyes here real soon and we will never again gather there as a family. The closer it gets to Mom and Deb moving away, the harder time I am having, and it seems to mostly be coming out as anger. My inner-child is NOT happy.

  2. Glad your mom made it well out of the hospital and you son and family has a place to be. I know how stressful those things can be.

And about the house... it's hard, but think about the newness to come and smile ;-)
