Spiritual Aide from my Boss

I was very blessed today when my boss called me to his office to speak to me confidentially about the pouch of stones I have been wearing around my neck to assist me in protection against anger and negativity. (I have been struggling with anger, etc in regards to the BS ,political and otherwise, in the work place).

My boss is Native American, and this morning he shared something with me. He began with asking me where I am sending my negative energy. I told him I was sending it away from me but not consciously sending it to anyplace in particular. In short he told me that I need an ordinary stone/rock as well as the prettier stones for the purpose of directing my negative energy. He said when I feel that the ordinary rock is full and has served it's purpose, to return it to nature, and choose another rock. He said the stones I wear assist me in surrounding/filling myself in positive energy, but the ordinary stone will give me a place to send my negative energy, that way the negative will not find it's way to another person.

We also did a little exercise. I had to giggle because he took off his badge and told me "I'm taking off my badge, because right now we are not Boss and Secretary." Then he asked me to stand and he placed his hands palm side down on top of my hands palm side up, then we touched foreheads for a time while just relaxing and breathing. When he drew away from me, he told me he sensed my energy, and that it was calm and not troubled. He explained that this is a good thing and that I am dealing with my problem in a good way. He told me he will take what he learned from my energy home tonight and work on it and tell me about what else he learns, etc.

He also told me that in my lifetime, I may not be actively searching for a person to assist me spiritually, but that they will come around from time to time. I guess he is one of those people guided to assist me during this period in my life. I feel very honored.

Septarian Stone

I stopped by the Rock Shop at lunch today and found a new stone (one I have never seen before) for my collection, which as it turns out has some properties I am seriously needing right now. I'm jazzed. It's too large to palm though, but I can hold it in both my hands. I'm keeping it at work, where I really need grounding, uplifting, and calming. It's a beautiful stone; the pic does not do it justice.

Fighting Anger

I am hurting for two of the closest people in my life. My Mom is dealing with alot of BS at work and it's gotten to the point where she is crying and getting sick; she wants to quit but can't retire yet. People are treating her badly at work, and yelling at her in front of everyone. We realize it is stress due to the economy and all the changes going on here at work, but can't they retain some semblance of a decent professional work ethic? Do people have to be so nasty? And my best friend is going through some really painful stuff right now and she's miles away in another state. All I can do is support her and love her via email. This sucks! I am hurting for them and angry at the people causing the pain and I'm getting moody as heck. I hate that they are going through this crap. I made me a small pouch to wear around my neck and placed an amethyst, a hematite and a quartz in it to help ward off the anger and negativity when what I'd really like to do, is reach across the miles (and work place) and slap the heck out of some people HARD and repeatedly!

Puzzling Blogger

I'm still trying to learn my way around Blogger. It took me forever just to figure out how to customize my page LOL. So I got the color scheme figured out (I think) and now I guess the next thing to look at is the layout. Me thinks I will be playing around with this a bit before I really get the grasp of it, but I will get there.

I'm really not much of a blogger; most my blogs are centered around my everyday life... family, health, etc. My life is pretty simple and I usually don't have a whole lot of stuff going on. Most the time I have my nose buried in a book, so don't expect any great insights or exciting events out of this bookworm.

Well... off to explore the layouts, etc. Wish me luck!
