"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it is about learning to dance in the rain" (unknown)

"Without Darkness, there would be no Light" (unknown)

In cool darkness
Eyes closed, I breathe
Going inward

Deep inhales
Long, slow exhales
In and out
In and out
Letting go

I envision sailing on the Sea
Cool salty air, fills the sail,
Kissing my face,
Caressing my hair

As we dance on waves of darkest sapphire
The boat and I
Gently rocking, swaying
Beneath an indigo sky

Limbs grow heavy with repose
Another world awaits
Betwixt Moon and stars
Nighttide's voyage carries me away

Inspired by Magaly's Guerro's prompt: Poetry for the Blood, Flesh, Bone and Spirit part of NapPoWriMo 2015

  1. Ah, this is deliciously lulling...

    1. I'll try to recreate this tonight, in hopes it lulls me to sleep. Thanks Magaly :-)
