Amongst The Birch Wood

Merry
Secretive
Ghillie Dhu
Weaving in shadows
Amongst the Birch wood

Dew kissed limbs glisten
Softly crunching deadened leaves
Elusive in in his freedom

The dark explorer's
Childish giggles echo
Hauntingly
Amongst the Birch wood

This poem was inspired by Magaly Guerro's prompt to write about a myth, part of NapoWriMo

  2. We never look up often enough and because of that we miss such wondrous sights! Thank you for the reminder to look! It was beautiful!
