This is my first contribution to Magaly Guerrero's Beautiful Freak Fest. Can you guess that I am a fan of preternatural beasts? I can't help it, tis the season!

  1. I'm a fan of this season too, and of the werewolves, vampires, goblins and other assorted beasties that cavort this time of year.

  3. If we had it our way, we would probably celebrate this season all year. When one of us is queen, we must decree it so.

I love her, Reba. I love that the scar adds a special sort of strength to her beauty. This woman has lived, fought, and is still glowing... a stunning warrior!

Thanks so much for adding her to the BFF2.

  4. I love the idea of the "perfect flesh" being transformed into "beautiful scars". I'm thinking of the illusion of perfection and the beauty to be found in the truth of the scars.

    1. Yes! Society puts too much stress on its version of flawless beauty and the perfect skin, hair, and body. Beauty comes in many packages, scars included.

    2. There's an idea in Japanese culture that flows into some of their art, that irregularities and/ or perceived flaws are actually grace notes of beauty. Some of the most prized tea utensils are a little misshapen. I think your party offering conveys a similar idea.

  5. Ooh I love this so much!❤️ Yes it's the season and I believe werewolves and vampires would be lining up just to get a glimpse of this stunning warrior beauty!❤️

  6. I just realised... with photoshopping and all... the more perfect the person is made mechanically with the deletion of scars, wrinkles, Tatts, cellulite, the less interesting, blander that person seems... yet the quest continues... love your sculptured freak, and the story behind her beautiful scars.

  8. I'm intrigued as to the tale between the two and how the scar was obtained.
