Nighttide

In cool darkness
Eyes closed, I breathe
Going inward

Breathing
Deep inhales
Long, slow exhales
In and out
In and out
Letting go

I envision sailing on the Sea
Cool salty air, fills the sail,
Kissing my face,
Caressing my hair

As we dance on waves of darkest sapphire
The boat and I
Gently rocking, swaying
Beneath an indigo sky

Limbs grow heavy with repose
Another world awaits
Betwixt Moon and stars
Nighttide's voyage carries me away

    1. I'll try to recreate this tonight, in hopes it lulls me to sleep. Thanks Magaly :-)

  2. This was draped in the clothing of sleep, deep and pleasant and distant. So well written.
